Update #30

Ok so you watched the video, and you might be asking some questions. Well, I think I might explain them without even asking a question, nor not watching the video :(

1. As of now, I'm not using a "kickstarter" site because I don't like it when you make donations to a website and the person who gets it, doesn't have it, nor its a scam. I did this movie with my own money and I kinda have a D.I.Y. mentality. If you would like to make a donation, send me a message through my email and I'll give you contact information.
2. The DVD is a TWO DISK DVD!! 2 disk DVD boxes don't come by that often and certain sites gives you the wrong type. If you have these kind of DVD Boxes that look like this that would be great because I have something special for the first 100 dvds purchased. Limit right now is to be determined but the goal for right now is 500 boxes. Got one lying around your house, send them to me.
   
3. Once they are made I like to know if certain site would like to sell the DVD's. Maybe Wicked Skatewear? Right now...DVD's aren't done yet, But I hope they are reading this.
4. Anyone wants to see the movie before it comes out on DVD? Find a venue, a good date and a speaker system, ad I'll bring the other stuff for a screening. Coming in the next month or two, I'll be having another screening in Lexington..soon. (Help Me)

Just want to give an update before the VLOG.

Theirs something that has bothering me for the past few days in the editing room. Its called misspelled words. I have too many of them. I thought of having someone else to watch it and fix the errors. But I wont, just for the sake of others opinions of how the movie should be done or fix the video itself ruining the chapter markers.

It may come off in a bad way, but it wont stop me for giving you all the great news...which will happen on December 16th.

And by the way, I also have some bad news that will be talked about on December 16th, which doesn't involed with the movie. But, it will be addressed on December 16th.

Well, I've been busy working at my job and finishing the DVD.

I had to edit the final cut like 3 more times from the last update.

So...a few things before I give real news.

1. Reason no video vlog at the premiere = honestly, footage deleted on purpose.
2. After the movie was shown, I edited again (6 times) for corrections.

Ok onto real news. Me and DARSTROSITY PRODUCTIONS will go on a new Project dedicated to Kentucky Roller Derby. So far the name is to be determined, and a crew and ideas are not made yet. Maybe with the help with Derby News Network it will bring Kentucky Roller Derby into known territory and popularity. And quite possibly have a WFTDA team into Regionals. Fingers Cross for next year. After the R.O.C.K.-umentary DVD is out in stores, this blog will be over and we'll move on into big and better things.

This blog will go on as we speak...right now we're working on DVD extras, menus and formatting to give you the best DVD we can bring to you.

Starting in 2 weeks time, I'll be planning on open screenings surrounding Kentucky and other states, mostly on a weekend basis. Premiere Blog #1

This is a new series to the R.O.C.K.-umentary MOVIE Blog

The premiere was a good turn out. Over 40 to 50 people came to see the first premiere. I was really happy that most of the roster make it including Ragdoll Ruby, Ellie Slay, Ryder Die and a few more.

I got some good reviews from people but a little criticism from my parents, but hey their parents, take it or leave it.

I thought more people would make it but it looks like they had other plans...sad.

After the movie the show was awesome. The Loaded Nuns and Vibrolas KILLED IT!!

I also had an donation jar for the DVD Fund...made a few dollars and I thank them for donating.

VLOG #9 The Best before the Premiere

The Premiere is on its way and I've made fliers. I hope I see one posted on the streets.

A few things and corrections.

1. The movie will be the theatrical cut...not the directors cut. I looked back and most of the parts didn't have enough info so most of it was cut off. Around 7 minutes was taken off from the original final cut.
2. I've made 100 copies of the artwork collage I've worked on. They will be used for autographs during the rock show. If you see a rollergirl from R.O.C.K. and alumni ask them to sign it for you. First 100 people will get one.
   
3. FREE SCREENING!!! Starts @ 6 PM on the dot.
   
4. Paco Chaos' Birthday Party...still buy him a drink.
5. The Meatmen, Easy Action (ex-Negative Approach), The Loaded Nuns, and Vibrolas @ around 9 PM. 10 bucks to get in. +18 and up.

The premiere is in a couple of weeks and I got a lot of things to say about the premiere party

1. Paco Chaos birthday buy him a drink
   
2. Free Screening @ 6pm
3. Rock show @ 9 w/ The Loaded Nuns, Vibrolas, Easy Action, and The Meatmen
4. The big one, this is the ONLY time you will see this movie in its entirety cause it will be the "directors cut". Most of the scenes you will see, some of them will be cut off for the "theater cut" (making the movie shorter and some of the scenes were WAY too long, and or didn't fit well into the movie).

I hope most of my derby folk can make it. I wonder the Derby News Network can come and see it too.

"You should of add that in instead of the other one"

or

"You spelled that wrong"

So that's why you have to do private screening. And not the ones that J.J. Abrams did at a Star Trek convention.
